Teams Phone Configurator is licensed per deployment and quoted on scope. There is no per-user licensing and nothing to install on client machines, and the infrastructure it needs is usually a machine you already run.
What the price depends on
- Tenant size and number volume. From a few hundred to tens of thousands of numbers.
- How many locations you run. Each office carries its own number ranges and policy set.
- Who operates it. You, on your own infrastructure, or IDE Solutions as part of a managed service.

Why is the licence price not listed?
Because it depends on how many numbers and locations you manage and who operates the tool. The demo gives us both, so the quote is exact rather than a range.
Do we pay per user or per service desk agent?
No. There is no per-user licensing. Everyone who provisions numbers signs in with their existing Entra ID account.
What does it cost to run?
On a VM you already have, effectively nothing beyond the container and SQL Server Express. On Azure Container Apps, low single-digit euros per month at this workload.
